We are now offering a total of nine color images of Frida Kahlo photographed by Nickolas Muray.

These are printed for us in the rare process called Color Carbon Printing (or Pigment-Transfer) by Tod Gangler of Art and Soul Studio. The Color Carbon Print is the predecessor of several other elite printmaking processes, including Carbro and Dye Transfer printing.

Four of the images in this exclusive offering are prints made from negatives that sat forgotten in a trunk for at least twenty-five years. Mimi Muray and her brother Chris were sorting through old family photos and came across them in the autumn of 1992. These original black and white photographs are being offered in either Silver Gelatin or Platinum prints. The other Platinum offering is “The Classic Frida”
